Introduction

2004年に東京で設立されたArts and Lawは、アーティストの自由な表現活動を励ますパートナーでありたいと考えるボランティアの専門家（主に法律、知的財産関係）が運営しています。アートに関連する法律や契約の知識はもちろんのこと、自らアートの現場に関わり、アーティストの置かれた立場や思考にも精通している専門家が、状況に応 じた的確な情報を提供します。

Established in 2004, located in Tokyo, we Arts and Law want to be good partner of artists in Japan. Our objective is to encourage artists and assist their freedom of expression with legal knowledge. We have volunteer specialists such as lawyers and patent attorneys who know well not only legal acumen but also custom of art world, so we can provide proper information for artists.
